    Wichita homebuilder Clint Miller has a problem: His new homes are in demand, but not as much as a year ago. "It's really hit and miss," said Miller, president of Clint Miller Homes. "We're not expanding or anything. We're just trying to figure out how many homes to keep around and get through this slow time."

  • Ag products, aircraft lift state exports

    A weak dollar and increasing wealth in developing countries drove Kansas exports to record levels in the first half of 2008. Kansas exports, led by aircraft and agricultural products, rose 39 percent to $6.69 billion compared to the same six months of 2007, according to figures released by the Kansas World Trade Center.
