Makeover extra help benefits Chapman

More than enough volunteers have showed up to work on the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" project in Chapman, so the extra help is working on other damaged homes.

The ABC-TV program crew is expected to turn over the keys to Patrick Tutwiler's home today, replacing the house that was demolished by a deadly tornado on June 11. Tutwiler returned from the Iraq war with serious wounds and a year later the twister destroyed his family's home.

Homeowner Brian Sweet told the Salina Journal that the show's producer has stopped by homes throughout Chapman every morning to see who needs help.

Tutwiler, his wife, four children and teenage nephew were sent on a Bahamas vacation while work on their new two-story was under way.
